About Me...

My name is Tanetta Ross and I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio as the oldest of 6 siblings and 17 grandchildren. In total, this clan included my mother, one stepfather, then eventually a 2nd stepfather, siblings, wonderful grandparents, aunts, uncles, and a host of cousins. Coming up in my large and colorful family was a significant part of my journey to becoming the woman God intended. I underwent some of my greatest joys, love, challenges, and traumas during my upbringing.

As a result of my rearing, my core became that of a person who hoped and dreamed beyond my surroundings. I developed great stamina and grit, the ability to lead, and to love deeply and unconditionally. Through my shaping, I became a person who protected ferociously, who was fiercely loyal, and who nurtured relentlessly. With these elements, I gained the opportunity to be blessed with many turbulent and wonderful experiences in my life. I got to become the mother of a brilliant son and as a single mother I accomplished many things. For instance, I got to become the first college graduate in my family, which later led to me earning my master’s degree. I got to become a published author. I also got to build a successful corporate career, which led to a VP title. Additionally, I got to embark on the wonderful journey of entrepreneurship with the skills I obtained through life experience, education, and my corporate career. However, the biggest “I got to” of them all was finally earning true and solid self-love by healing from past injury that was delivered through childhood trauma, a couple of failed marriages, and the loss of loved ones. It was this healing work and the spiritual nudging of my loved ones that delivered me to my life’s purpose and the need to become a Certified Professional Coach (CPC). Doing my personal “soul-work” brought me rebirth, self-love, self-respect, self-grace, peace, happiness, and fulfillment like I had never known. I have come to realize, God has blessed me with my struggles and successes to hone me for my true life’s purpose, which is to support and guide others on their paths to their life’s purpose/higher selves.

Every single one of these experiences, the good ones and the bad ones, came with ups and downs. Through these experiences, I have become a subject matter expert in Change and Challenge, the two Cs. As an ambassador of the two Cs, I became a teacher, a mentor, and a coach on navigating, appreciating, and transcending through the Cs. I’ve had the pleasure of doing this and continuously growing in this space for more than 30 years with many special people who invited me along their individual journeys. So in summary, my experience with transformational coaching comes with the work I have done in my own life and with the mentoring and guidance that I have diligently provided to others in the hopes that my experiences could be of service, as well as through my professional training as a CPC.
